FARNSWORTH
HOUSE TAVERN
At the Tavern, Civil War re-enactors frequent the bar. They are all
lined up in either their Union or Confederate uniforms, sitting side
by side chatting with each other. Naturally the conversation will
swing to one of the many Civil War battles. Careful!! IF you turn
away for a brief second, and then look back, you may see that the
soldiers that were not re-enacting will have disappeared. They were
simply enjoying a cool brew. Remember, it was hot in July of 1863.…
You will always experience a warm friendly Victorian Atmosphere with
warm friendly staff and guests. Some you can see, and some you can
not. Be sure to view the extensive and unique display of
"Gettysburg" movie props and uniforms.
Period style entertainment is offered May through November on most
Friday and Saturday evenings.
The Tavern and Dining Room offers an extensive Wine List, and
Specialty Drinks. Including Award Winning Adams County Winery Wines.
Opens 11:30AM |
